Meet Connor
Who Am I?
A Few Words About Me
Hi, I’m Connor, a qualified BACP registered integrative counsellor. I’ve been a counselling client myself, so I understand how daunting it can feel to reach out. That experience shapes how I support the people I work with.
My understanding of many of the difficulties people bring to counselling comes not only from professional training and experience, but also from my own life experiences. I haven’t simply learned about these things from a textbook. I know personally how important it is to feel understood, accepted and supported without judgement. I also recognise that everyone’s experience is different, so the focus remains on you and your story.
Since qualifying, I have completed more than 2,000 counselling hours and supported hundreds of people through a wide range of difficulties.
I’ve spent years supporting people through addiction, trauma, self harm, suicidal thoughts and other personal struggles, combining professional training with lived experience. I work integratively, which means I don’t expect you to fit a particular counselling style. Instead, we can shape our work around you, your needs and what feels helpful. I value honesty, empathy and creating a space where you feel safe, heard and understood. We can explore your thoughts and feelings at a pace that feels right for you, without pressure or judgement. Since qualifying, I have completed more than 2,000 counselling hours and supported hundreds of people through a wide range of difficulties.
Outside of counselling, I love being in nature. It helps me reset, reflect and stay grounded. I bring that calm energy into sessions, meeting you where you are, without pressure or judgement. Taking the first step can feel scary, but you don’t have to do it alone. I’m here to support you and walk alongside you as you find your way forward.
